How much potassium hydroxide needed

Wondering how much solution you use for a tank of fuel on a semi. Have a series 60 Detroit 12.7 liter. Running 2 150gal fuel tanks. Was hoping to at least only have to fill unit every time I got fuel.

Hi Bradly,

Semi truck customers are using approximately 1 gallon of water for every 400 gallons of fuel.

The D-20 Hydrogen Generator Kit comes with a 2.5 gallon reservoir tank.

You will only be replenishing the reservoir tank with distilled water when needed. A new batch solution (distilled water and potassium hydroxide) should be changed out every 3 months for full-time semi drivers.
