Recommendations for a 1988 Chevy Suburban 1500

by Ryan M

I have a 1988 Chevy Suburban with a 350. It's a 1500 and contains a carburetor as well. I am not sure what I should do in terms of the different types of HHO systems to match up to my vehicle as best as possible. I am aware that there are different factors that play a roll in the HHO system and the vehicle, engine, etc. but would like to just get an outside idea of what I should do for my situation. Thank you

Hi Ryan,

For your 1988 Chevy Suburban, the D-7 is the right hydrogen generator kit.

You don't say if it is gas or diesel? If it is diesel you will not need any computer enhancement.
In 1986-1987 the Suburbans method of fuel delivery was switched from carburetors to electronic fuel injection.

If it is not diesel and you have the OBD1 you will need to add an EFIE - Quad Digital Narrow Band for your oxygen sensors.

Please contact us if you have questions.
