Hello , my name is allister and I am considering to purchase a HHO Kit with a Enhancement Chip for my 5.9 liter Dodge ram 1500. I would like to know if the water in the holding will freeze as I suspect no but why ? thanks ............Allister.

Hello,

The reservoir tank and the HHO generator with our systems will not freeze. It has to do with the chemical make up of the catalyst and the efficiency of your generator system.

You live in Canada so you will want to use potassium hydroxide.

For your Dodge 1500 the D-7 Hydrogen Kit is the right one for that engine. Look for the "bundle" in the middle of the page.

Hi Allister - good question! I live in Moscow, Russia and have a similar system to the one you seem to be wanting.

Unfortunately, weather temperatures that go to -30°C and below do cause freezing of electrolyte! There are some ways to help recent that…

1 Remove the reservoir each night!
2 Place a heat tape round the reservoir
3 You can use antifreeze (windshield wash) - I have and it works!
4 You can leave your engine running if it is that cold (-45°C) - the HHO will give you better economy!
