Hi Kelly,

HHO as an independent fuels source has been done.

Stanley Meyer did it with a dune buggy. He traveled form Los Angeles to New York using only 22 US gallons (83 liters) of water.

He only lived to be 57 years old, he was poisoned 1998, you can read more about it here at Stan Meyer see the bottom of the page.

You will also find some other interesting facts about the history of hydrogen gas engines.

Running a vehicle strictly on hydrogen gas is not what we are trying to do at all. We offer hydrogen generators that supplement your fuel to save gas, boost horsepower and lower emissions.
