FS2 HHO CHIP

by Jan Holcomb

I have a Bully Dog PMT (Performance Management Tool) for my 2007.5 (LMM engine) Chevy Silverado HD2500 Turbo Diesel. It plugs into the OBDII port. Will there be a conflict between this and the FS2 HHO Chip trying to control things?

Thanks for your help.

I got a reply that came from the Volo people. Apparently when something is plugged into the OBDII port, the FS2 chip shuts down. Looks like I will have to get rid of the Bully Dog because I REALLY want to hook up an HHO unit.

Hi Jan,

Wish I had a straight answer for you, but I don't. Your performance chip may interfere with your HHO Chip. We have had customers who have had to take their performance chips off.

If it is plugged into the OBDII port and there is no alternative way to connect it, I believe you will need to disconnect it.
Something you will have to experiment with.

Thank you for sharing your question.
