Wires getting hot

by David

I just made and Installed my Hydrogen Generator from parts I bought at Home Depot, various car part stores and a few parts I had to have a metal shop make for me, My question is when I hook up the battery to the generator, I do produce hydrogen gas I can actually burn off the top of my bubbler, My lines get so hot, on both ends, (Hot and neutral) that the plastic starts to melt, What am I doing wrong? I have tried to reverse the lines to the battery and that doesnt work, I made sure my plates and wire are not touching anything besides what they are suppose to, So I am at a loss, any help please.....

David,

You are putting too much catalyst in. Start with a very small amount and watch your amps as you add more. You don't say what you are using?
