Happy New Year, Dave.

You may place the generator anywhere you choose, as long as there is sufficient vertical distance between the reservoir and the generator to allow gravity to feed the generator!

The gas will automatically rise back into the reservoir to be separated into recyclable electrolyte and the HHO itself, which should be routed through the bubbler† and on into the air intake system BEFORE any turbo unit that might be there!

You could even have the reservoir in the truck bed, if you wished. You can mount the generator under your bumper or in front of your radiator - no problem!

† The Bubbler is necessary to a) filter the gas to remove any moisture and b) to act as a flash-back safety-valve should the need arise.
